This is another delicious recipe from the 2003 version of Pat Crocker's The Smoothie Bible. I still haven't gotten my hands on the 2010 version, but there are enough recipes in this version to keep me blending for a while. This recipe serves 1.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Slurry
Ingredients- ¾ cup milk or plain soy milk
- 1 ripe banana, peeled and chopped
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp carob powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt
Preparation
In blender, combine milk, banana, peanut butter and carob powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder). Process as directed until smooth. Add ice cream and continue as directed until just mixed in. Enjoy!
